Leading the way
Darlene Hines, ISA CAPP
Darlene Hines, President/CEO of Nostalgia Antique Appraisal Services, started in the antique business in 1995 with her husband Clarence at the parent company, Nostalgia Days Gone By Antiques—an antique store and tea room in downtown Brighton for 10 years.
After many requests from customers for appraisals, combined with her background in education, Darlene researched how to become a qualified personal property appraiser. She not only wanted to appraise antiques and residential contents but wanted to be the best at it. The appraisals grew into a lucrative business, and many years later, she now services clients throughout all of southeastern Michigan and many other communities, both local and national.
With years of hard work and dedication, Darlene has become a well-known Certified Appraiser both in the community and within the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). While serving on ISA’s Board of Directors, she was very active in the local and civic community.
